We have received a few comments on our Facebook page questioning/condemning PuteraMIC for not helping the Indian community in general and also on how we deal with "stiff competition" from other parties similar to ours.
Here is a brief explanation about PuteraMIC's role for those who are unaware.
Firstly, it has to be stressed that PuteraMIC deals mainly with students. As such, most of our efforts and events are focused on this target group. Our aim is to ensure all Indian students are equipped with proper education and skills to prepare them for their working life.
With regards to stiff competition from other bodies, associations and organizations, we do not see anyone as ‘competition’. We are here in PuteraMIC for a purpose, and we try to work hard to achieve our purpose together with our vision and mission. In fact, we welcome all bodies, associations and organizations who have the intention to help and uplift our Indian community.
Please do take a look at our Facebook posts and albums to see the events and activities that we have done so far. We assure you that we will be doing more in the future for the benefit of Indian students.
