20.11.2015 - SJK(T) LADANG SAGGA UPSR 2015 TOP ACHIEVERS AWARD CEREMONY

On 20^th November 2015, a small ceremony was held at SJK(T) Ladang Sagga, Siliau, Negeri Sembilan for the best achievers in the 2015 UPSR examination. A total of 14 students from SJK(T) Ladang Sagga sat for the UPSR examinations this year.

The top two achievers with 7As and 5As respectively were presented with netbooks by me in my capacity as Putera MIC Bahagian Rasah Chief. Datin Leelavathy T Rajagopalu also presented cash reward to all 14 students.

SJK(T) Ladang Sagga was the alma mater of my father, the late Dato’ T Rajagopalu and he was always passionate about giving back to the school and always ensured students were aware of the importance of education and this included rewarding the top achievers for all examinations. 

I hope that the netbooks and cash reward will be utilized well by the students to prepare for the next chapter of their schooling life which is secondary school and I hope to see all 14 students working hard and performing well in their studies.

7.11.2015 - LIGHTS OF DEEPAVALI 2015

As part of our annual tradition, this year Putera MIC Negeri Sembilan with support from Akshara Foundation ushered the Festival of Lights by celebrating 70 single mothers and mothers from poor families today. They were invited to a special lunch event where we distributed sarees and presented ‘ang pows’ to them.

This is the third instalment of Putera MIC Negeri Sembilan’s Lights of Deepavali celebration.

Nothing beats seeing the joy and smile on their faces as it reminded us how much satisfaction the smallest of acts can bring and this has in turn made the Deepavali celebrations much more meaningful for all of us.

21.9.15 - NETBOOK PRESENTATION CEREMONY PART 4 - PERAK

On 21st September 2015, deserving students from poor families in the state of Perak were presented with Netbooks at a simple ceremony by Mr. Tharma on my behalf as the Chairman of Putera MIC Negeri Sembilan.

18.9.15 - VISITED MS.RAJAA NABILAH WHO IS IN NEED OF DONATION FOR SPINAL SURGERY

On 18th September 2015, I visited Ms. Rajaa Nabilah Ibrahim who was admitted in the hospital. She had a fall in her home and is now suffering from spinal cord injury. She now needs to undergo surgery and will need to come up with RM11,000 for the said surgery.

It is my humble appeal to all good Samaritans who will be able to provide any amount of financial assistance to help the family come up with the needed amount. Please contact the family at 016-2553740 to assist.  

16.9.15 - MEETING BETWEEN PERSATUAN PEMBANGUNAN MASYARAKAT NEGERI SEMBILAN & PUTERA MIC NEGERI SEMBILAN

On 16th September 2015, I had a meeting with the Chairman of Persatuan Pembangunan Masyarakat  Negeri Sembilan, Mr. Aryan Kailash in my capacity as the Chief of Putera MIC Negeri Sembilan.

It was a fruitful meeting wherein we discussed pertinent matters affecting the Indian community and residents in Ampangan area and the Negeri Sembilan state and also brainstormed on effective methods and measures to be taken to address all the issues discussed.

29.8.15 - KIBARKAN JALUR GEMILANG BERSAMA PUTERA MIC

To mark our beloved country's 58th Independence Anniversary, Putera MIC Rasah together with Putera MIC Teluk Kemang organized a program called 'Kibarkan Jalur Gemilang bersama Putera MIC' in Port Dickson for the fourth time.

Aimed to create awareness about the sacrifices of our leaders fighting for independence and also to instill the spirit of patriotism and love for our beloved country, flags and stickers were distributed and everyone was encouraged to display them in their home, offices and vehicles.

This program is the first of many programs to be organized Putera MIC Bahagian Rasah for the Merdeka and Hari Malaysia celebrations.

Netbook Presentation Ceremony Part 3 - Negeri Sembilan

We , Putera MIC have previously presented netbooks to deserving IPTA and IPTS students in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

Today, selected bright students from poor families in Port Dickson Negeri Sembilan were presented with Netbooks include a simple ceremony at PD Utama & Si Rusa. Joinining together supporting the event Putera MIC Teluk Kemang Chief Sargunan, Deputy Mr.Simon & Rembau Putera MIC Chief Mr.Previn Kumar.

The internet, when used responsibly contains vast amount of useful information that can be utilized to improve our knowledge. Based on this, we at Putera MIC intend to create the thirst for knowledge in the younger generation. We believe it is this thirst and yearning for improvement that will help uplift them in every aspects of their life.
