21.07.2014 - MY DEEPAVALI BAZAAR SCHEME PROPOSAL TO KPDNKK

Friday 10 April 2015
As part of our plans for 2014, Putera MIC National’s Secretary General, Dineshwaran T Rajagopalu has successfully submitted a few proposals to the Prime Minister’s Department with regards to planned programs by our relevant bureaus in relation to education, health and empowerment.
In particular, we have also submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-Operatives & Consumerism (KPDNKK) on plans for the launch of Deepavali Bazaar Scheme at Little India spots across the country, similar to that of Ramadhan Bazaar Scheme which is an interest free micro-credit scheme that would provide the much needed capital for traders to start their small businesses during the Deepavali month.
We believe this scheme and initiative will be able to help to empower small scale entrepreneurs in addition to being an attraction for tourists during the Visit Malaysia Year 2014.
In relation to MY proposal to the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-Operatives & Consumerism (KPDNKK) on plans for the launch of Deepavali Bazaar Scheme at Little India spots across the country, I am glad to inform that KPDNKK has duly replied to our proposal letter.
I have been informed that my proposal has been reviewed by YB Dato' Sri Hasan Bin Malek and has been forwarded to YBhg Dato' Azmi bin Lateh, Deputy Secretary General (Domestic Trade) of KPDNKK for his further action.
I appreciate the positive and prompt response by KPDNKK regarding the above matter and look forward to positive response from YBHg Dato' Azmi bin Lateh.
