The month of August is a special month for all Malaysians, as it is the month of Merdeka. This year marks the 59th year our beloved country has achieved independence.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, Putera MIC Negeri Sembilan together with Persatuan Kepimpinan Pendidikan Graduan (PKPG) and Persatuan Pembangunan Masyarakat NS successfully held the ‘Kibarkan Jalur Gemilang’ program.
In its 5th year now, during this program, Malaysia flags and stickers were distributed to passers-by and motorists to create public awareness and as a symbol of unity, pride and patriotism by Malaysians where everyone was encouraged to display the flags in their home, offices and vehicles.
This program is also aimed to express gratitude to the founders of our nation and those who relentlessly fought for our freedom.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Sargunan, Mr. Rhavindran Marappan, Mr. Thayalan Balaraj, En.Mohd Aryan Kailash, Mr.TharmaRaj Subramaniam and Mr.Previn Kumar who have been instrumental in ensuring the success of this program.
Today, we celebrate our freedom and remember those who died for this country and gave this right to us. Let’s celebrate this day by appreciating all Malaysians as one family through friendship and harmony. United we stand, divided we fall. Happy 59th National Day!!
